diatribes:

Diatribes voit le jour, sous le nom de d’incise d’où inductions, dans les sous-sols genevois en 
hiver 2004. L’idée était de mélanger trois sources de son distinctes (vent, percussion et 
électronique) pour développer une masse sonore malléable. Le saxophone et la batterie se 
confondent, avec le traitement de leur propre son en live, dans une danse primaire, brute, où 
construction et destruction coexistent, où envie et dégoût s’unissent. Le partage avec le public 
est intime et profond. Les rêves et les peurs deviennent bruit et silence…

Guitariste et compositeur. A participé à de nombreux projets autour de l'AMR depuis les années 70. 
A travaillé avec de nombreux musiciens comme Urs Blöchlinger, Christy Doran, Glenn Ferris, Mathieu
Michel, et autres. Précédemment membre du groupe "Aujourdh'hui Madame", et à présent surtout 
investi dans "Double Jeu Trio" et "La Fanfare du Loup". A composé de nombreuses musiques pour le 
théâtre (Théâtre du Loup, Compagnie Jean-Louis Hourdin). A joué dans différents festivals européens
(Zürich, Cologne, Donaueschingen, Grenoble, Willisau). Egalement membre de nombreux groupes de 
jazz en Suisse, comme "Schizodie" de Carlos Baumann, ou "Rosetta" de P-F Massy. A eu également de
larges expériences dans la mouvance rock, et s'est spécialisé depuis plusieurs années dans les 
effets de son et les "looping devices".

Diatribes began its existence under another name d’incise d’où inductions in a Geneva basement in 
winter 2004. The idea behind the band was to mix three distinct sources (wind, percussion and 
electronic) in order to develop a malleable mass of sound. The saxophone and drums get confused 
with the treatment of their own sound, in a primary dance, where construction and destruction 
coexist, and envy and disgust unite. The relationship with the audience is deep and intimate. 
Dreams and fears become noise and silence…

Guitarist and composer. Involved in many AMR projects since the 70's. Worked with various musicians 
such as Urs Blöchlinger, Christy Doran, Glenn Ferris, Mathieu Michel and others. Former member of
the group "Aujourd'hui Madame", and at present much involved in "Double Jeu Trio" and "La Fanfare 
du Loup". Composed lots of music for the theater (Théâtre du Loup, Compagnie Jean-Louis Hourdin).
Played at different european festivals (Zürich, Donaueschingen, Cologne, Grenoble, Willisau). 
Member also of numerous jazz groups in Switzerland, namely with Carlos Baumann's Schizodie, or 
Pierre-François Massy's Rosetta. Had also large activities in the rock movement, and specialised 
for years in electrical sound effects and looping devices.
